This was actually taken back in May when spring was supposed to be here, not winter.
And now we're getting a storm moving in that will dump maybe 4-8in of snow for the valley (valley in Montana is still 4000ft, as opposed to the sea level valley in Portland).
Soon ravens will be rolling around in the snow. Going to see if I can catch a magpie doing this as well.

They are not common here in the Netherlands. We have a lot of Jackdaws and Magpies.

Ravens are pretty common here in most places as are crows and a few species of jays. No jackdaws here, I'd love to see some one day.
