A slightly rare sight. Usually don't see peacocks hanging out in the trees. They're usually hanging out on the ground. This male may be taking a high vantage point to spot out some of the females that are also roaming around. Bet it took a while to get up there.

They can still fly, but not we well as most other birds. They can go for short distances in bursts. It's a lot harder for the males to fly when they have that super long tail.
