Found a few coyotes on the last trip to Yellowstone. And most of them have been spotted walking along the road. I can't blame them. It's easier to walk on the road than through the snow (like this one) but there's always the chance of being struck by a car.
Maybe. Was hoping to catch some hunting activity but didn't manage that. The coyote was walking in what must have been a bison path looking for food. Then we decided to leave it to its hunting, or whatever it was doing after it went a ways up the road and down into a meadow, or at least I think it was a meadow with all that snow.
Thanks! Would love to get this sort of a shot of a badger or wolverine. Have to hike up to a friggin mountain top to see the wolverine I'd imagine. I think the badgers are sleeping right now while it's winter.
