Found a few coyotes on the last trip to Yellowstone. And most of them have been spotted walking along the road. I can't blame them. It's easier to walk on the road than through the snow (like this one) but there's always the chance of being struck by a car.

The Coyote must like snow alot to be walking in it.

Maybe. Was hoping to catch some hunting activity but didn't manage that. The coyote was walking in what must have been a bison path looking for food. Then we decided to leave it to its hunting, or whatever it was doing after it went a ways up the road and down into a meadow, or at least I think it was a meadow with all that snow.

Would love to get this sort of a shot of a badger or wolverine. Have to hike up to a friggin mountain top to see the wolverine I'd imagine. I think the badgers are sleeping right now while it's winter.
