Close up of the female condor. The females have red eyes while the males have light brown eyes and an ornament on their heads. If the numbers are added up these guys are the largest flying bird with wingspan and weight added. (not heavies, just largest)

Harmon the Eaglet has quite the story. He is on the MinnesotaBound webcam. His nestmate fell out of the nest and died. Tragic. Then, Harmon got stuck in the nesting material b/c it had rained so hard and everything was all mucky. 2 days went by and Harmon was still stuck and not eating and his parents (I believe they are 1st time parents) didn't know what to do and everyone who watches the cam were getting mighty upset and calls were made (actually hundreds of "Save Harmon" calls) finally, up goes the cherry picker and Harmon is released from the muck and not in real good condition. They took him out of the nest for a day, cleaned him up, fed him and put him back in the nest. It took about 2 days for the parents to come back to the nest (poor Harmon all alone in that big nest at night, so vulnerable). Anyhow, Mom and Dad came back and now Harmon is a roly-poly Eaglet who is spoiled by his parents and held in the hearts of all those who viewed these events on the webcam.
Kindest regards.

That's awesome that that much of an outcry can help save an eaglet.
I've been watching the Cornell hawk and heron cams since the local red-tail cam that I normally watch based in Portland isn't up since the hawks moved nests. They have an osprey cam up which isn't the best quality.
I'd love to see more vulture cams.

Thanks! It's nice to see these guys up close. The bars were a bit distracting but she even had her wings spread out too.
