At least it looks like the squirrel is leaning. The spot next to it is either the pine cone or a hole in which the squirrel can run away into. There were a number of juveniles running around and they were super curious about what these giant (compared to a ground squirrel) things were standing or kneeling around them. They're adorable and I can't wait for spring next year when they come out of their hibernation (they sleep a LOT).
