Biggest find in Yellowstone that trip (besides the gray jay at the picnic area).
There were a few cars stopped and me being the passenger scooped things out..I saw a goose on the other side of the river. Turns out there was a coyote on the side of the river we were on.
The same coyote popped up about two more times for more photo ops, and around pull outs thankfully!
Has probably the neatest coat I've seen, it's very white! And still fluffy.

Third coyote I've seen in Yellowstone, first had a radio collar and some ear tags, second one looked like it had mange and then this pretty white fluff.

Majority of the other people who saw this critter probably thought they were seeing a wolf.

It's one of the lightest coyotes I've seen. Most of them are varied shades of brown.

Great shot. I've never seen a coyote with such a white coat! For those people that thought they were seeing a wolf, they need to look at the muzzle and the tail, and the over all body...

:D Yeah. I didn't overhear anything of the sort, but it's been known to happen.
My boyfriend saw some coyotes near Mammoth and someone pulled over and asked if they were wolves. He said no and the people that stopped were like ..oh... and drove on >_<

I'd be happy to find a coyote even if I've seen one before.

Still aiming to find a wolf and a river otter, but I won't pass up the coyotes.

I dont know how many times the day I´m looking at this little Masterpiece. It is ...awwwwww, this white fur ...and it´s so...so...flufffyyyyy x3
And all the colors in this picture are in perfect harmony. I love this Capture so much. Thank you for such a beautiful photograph ^^
