Scooter and Suseli (pictured above) were the two cheetah brothers to first call Predators of the Serengeti home. Sadly late 2009 Scooter passed away due to cancer. Suselie on the other hand was transferred to another zoo for SSP recommendations for breeding. So the zoo was cheetah-less for..a year or so.

So on Veterans day the zoo got two new cheetah brothers, Ranger and Strike.

I'm still bugged by the paw in the air... I can't tell that it's coming from the rolling cheetah.

It belongs to the rolling cheetah!

That is sooooo sad! What a great loss! I'm glad to hear that you have receive some new cheetahs, however, that doesn't mean that you ever forget these gorgeous creatures. A sad loss. My condolences! :(

Yeah. Scooter was a really outgoing cheetah. He was the first to hang out on the jeep that's half inside their exhibit and the seats are out so visitors can sit in the car.
Saw the new brothers today they were both hanging out fairly close to the viewing glass where I suspect there's a heated rock.

haha it looks likes it but then again, it looks like part of the leg gets meshed in with the neck of the other cheetah huh. haha I think it's from the rolling Cheetah because I think the other cheetah's body position would be different. The non-rolling cheetah doesn't look too phased by the rolling one, I think if it were his paw then he'd have a different posture (but that's just my thoughts haha).

If you look very carefully you can see that it is indeed the rolling cheetah's leg, haha.
