Bump on a limbby *DeeOtter

During May/June I took an extended visit to my grandparents place. Had to amuse myself for some of the time since my grandfather had a nosebleed issue (new medication side effects) so couldn't really go out far from the house.
So I wandered around the yard (HUGE yard, like acres), visited the horse they were taking care of, and catching up on reading.

While wandering the house I spotted this guy hanging out in the..whatever trees those are.. along the side of the house. I've seen these guys flying around Montana (quite a flight) but haven't seen them up in the tree like this. So that was neat.

...Actually I'm not sure if it's a nighthawk or a poorwill

I think it's a Nighthawk.. not sure if the Whip-poor-wills chest looks like that.

Maybe. I have no idea. I'm horrible with identifying trees. Even the really common ones.
