One of my favorite birds. They're super curious and usually come to inspect wha this new thing at the glass is.
They've been pretty interested in camera lenses too.

I have a Nikon D5100. It's a pretty good camera...but even if you have the bestest greatest camera in the world, there's a lot of luck involved in getting a picture.

That's for sure. It took forever for me to get a picture of a crow taking flight with the wing feathers in detail, and even then, it wasn't a closeup. It's tough, but worth it.

Birds in flight shots are difficult to get, especially with fairly quick birds like crows. It takes a looot of practice and even more luck to get a neat shot.
I got one of a raven landing and the wings are all spread out, but the bird is facing away. it's still kinda neat though. :D

Nice! :D Yes, birds in flight are very tough. That's why my main subjects are bugs (none to photograph yet) and plants.
