Samudra is going to be a big brother late next year.
The zoo announced yesterday morning that Rose-tu is pregnant with her second calf. Father is Tusko again.

I'm really hoping the next calf is a girl!

It's not very big right now. It's only 1.5 acres. But renovations will start sometime to make it 6 acres. As well as a large offsite area, kinda like the sanctuary in Tennessee.

Sadly they are. They're taking away wolves to put elephants in there. I think the zoo is moving to less animals but giving them more space. The current wolf exhibit sucks but I don't know if the zoo plans on bringing back wolves.

They need diversity to make it interesting. Oliphants and eleks are nice but we need fuzzy critters too.
